Terms of service
Plain terms for a planning app.

In short: Eggsercise is a wellness planner, not a medical service. Use it for yourself, keep your account to yourself, and treat the plan as a suggestion you are free to change. We will keep the service honest and tell you before anything material changes.
1. The service
Eggsercise plans meals, workouts and groceries from the preferences you give it and adjusts that plan when you tell it your day changed. Plans are generated by deterministic rules and, where enabled, a language model that may only choose among options the rules allow. Nutrition values are calculated from catalog data and are estimates.
2. Not medical advice
Eggsercise provides general wellness information. It does not diagnose, treat, or substitute for advice from a doctor, dietitian or physiotherapist. Do not use it to manage a medical condition, pregnancy, an eating disorder or a child’s diet. Stop any exercise that hurts. If you have a condition that affects how you should eat or train, check with a professional before following a plan.
3. Your account
- You must be 16 or older. The app asks you to confirm this right after you sign in, before anything else, and we delete an account we learn belongs to someone younger.
- One person per account; keep your sign-in method secure.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, especially allergies.
- You can delete your account at any time from Profile.
4. Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access other people’s data, overload the service, reverse engineer the apps, or use Eggsercise to build a competing dataset from our catalog. We may suspend accounts that do.
5. Subscriptions
Eggsercise is free to use: your first planned week, Today, logging, your shopping list, pantry, household sharing and Progress, with a few planner changes each month. Eggsercise Pro adds every new week planned for you and unlimited planner changes.
- Pro is sold only through the App Store and Google Play, monthly or yearly. The store shows the price for your country before you confirm. Nothing is charged inside the app without the store’s purchase sheet.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically for the same length and price unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The store charges the renewal in the 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account, or from Eggsercise Pro in Profile. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for.
- If a free trial is offered, any unused part of it ends when you subscribe.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies.
- Deleting your Eggsercise account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in your store account first.
- If the price changes, the store tells you beforehand and asks for your consent where its rules require it.
6. Content and data
Recipes, exercises, cues and illustrations in Eggsercise are ours or licensed to us. Exercise photographs come from the Free Exercise DB, released into the public domain. Product data from Open Food Facts is provided under the Open Database License, and package photos from Open Food Facts are shown under Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) with their credit. Nutrition data from USDA FoodData Central is in the public domain. A product you name after scanning an unknown barcode is visible only to your household. Your own entries remain yours; you grant us the right to process them to run the service, as described in the privacy policy.
Recipes you import from a link are saved privately to your account with a link back to their source, for your own cooking. Only import pages you are allowed to use. We never publish imported recipes, share them with other people or add them to our catalog.
7. Availability and changes
We aim for the service to be available but do not guarantee it. We may change or retire features; we will give notice of material changes to these terms in the app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
8. Liability
To the extent the law allows, Eggsercise is provided “as is” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
